From October 13th to 21st, 16 students from HBUT's inaugural delegation for exchanging excellent Chinese traditional culture to Africa participated in a week-long exchange activity at the Confucius Institute for Green Technology at the University of Venda in South Africa. This event was a positive response to the University of Venda's organization of students to participate in the "Chinese Bridge Exploration Group for Mutual Learning between Chinese and South African Civilizations" in China, and it was also an active exploration for the 2026 China-Africa Humanities Exchange Year. This is not only the first time our school has organized a large-scale student delegation to Africa for exchange, but it is also the largest delegation of Chinese students to visit in the history of the University of Venda.
