Wu Weixian, male, born in 1942 in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), senior engineer. In 1964, he graduated with a college degree of Agricultural Mechanics. He was the Vice Director of Department of Industries of Shishou County, Hubei Province, the Vice Director of the County Economic Commission, the Vice Secretary of the County CPC Committee and County Magistrate of Shishou County; the Vice Secretary of Mianyang County CPC Committee, and County Magistrate; the Deputy Commissioner of Jingzhou Region, and the Director of the Provincial Bureau of Township Enterprise Management. He is the Director of Hubei Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the Director of the Second Inspection Team of Hubei Province CPC Committee, and the Vice Director of the Economic Panel of the Provincial Standing Committee of CPPCC.
