Recently, the closing ceremony of the second session of the filial piety culture of Hubei Province was held at HBUT. Xiong Jinyan, a student of the“Three Impressions” and a student of the School of Mechanical Engineering of 2004, was awarded the title of the filial and virtued youth.Xiong was born abandoned and brought up by her adoptive parents. She cherished this special family and studies hard to repay her parents' parenting. In 2014, her father was diagnosed with bronchial malignancies. In July 2016, another fever came from her mother who had advanced gastric cancer and her entire stomach was removed. In the case of her parents suffering from severe illness, she resolutely chose to take care of her parents in the hospital bed. However, unfortunately, his father became sick and died late at night.... But she chose to face it strongly, she was absent from school in 2016, and she returned to school in 2017. She prepared for the postgraduate entrance examination.
Fortunately, she obtained a postgraduate degree from the Three Gorges University this year where she will be able to study in her hometown, to take care of her mother. The relatives, friends, teachers and classmates around her are happy for her achievement and are also impressed by her fortitude.
