Prof. Li Mengqing has published 6 academic books and 100 academic papers concerning vocational education research, and has won many awards, including Hubei Social Science Excellent Research Prize, Hubei Development Research Prize, Hubei Higher Education Research Result Prize, and Hubei Education Science Excellent Research Result Prize, National Vocational and Technical Education Science Research Prize, Huang Yan Pei Vocational Education Prize, etc. He is a key national vocational teacher training base reviewing expert of the Ministry of Education, vocational institute teacher quality improvement project reviewing expert, national secondary vocational education reform pilot school reviewing expert, member of vocational teacher training program expert panel of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, Sino-foreign joint education reviewing expert of the Ministry of Education, and member of China Vocational Teacher Association Faculty Committee. He has investigated the vocational education of Germany, France, Austria and other nations.
