On the afternoon of December 23, the 2021-2022 Hubei Youth Campus Football League (University Group) Final was held at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Men's football team of HBUT won the championship.

This competition was organized by the Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau and the Hubei Provincial University Sports Association. The competition is also the Hubei Trial of the Chinese University Football League. The champion team will represent the Hubei Province universities as the only representative team to participate in the National University Football League Divisional Tournament to be held in April 2022. This is the first time that our school's student representative team has won this honor!
