On the morning of May 6th, the HBUT 2016 Innovation Fair was taking place in our College Students Pioneer Park. Our university's deputy party secretary, Prof. Cai Guangxing attended the activity and offered mentorship.

On the day, some senior high school principals happened to visit our university. Then accompanied by the director of our Department of Admission and Career Guidance, Mr. Xia Xing, they also visit the fair at their convenience. The principals were full of praise of innovative and entrepreneurial activity and part of them even bought some innovative products from our students, supporting them with actions.

33 booths were set up in our first Innovation Fair after declaration and audit of every school. And around 50 enrolled students took part in sale. Their cleverly-designed products were full of creativity and a feast for the eyes, involved in 3D printing, handmade leather products, jewelries, calligraphy and painting sketch, civil engineering models, etc. There were nearly 200 pieces of on-sale design works in total, the prices of which ranging from a few dozens of RMB to thousands of RMB. Through the activity, students' innovative practical ability was improved.
