So far, 4 undergraduates from Normal School Of Vocational Techniques have successfully completed the 2-week 2023 Winter vacation international exchange program for college students.Among them, Xu Shunqi, Class 20 electrical teacher 2, Zhang Jiahuan, class 22 mechanical teacher 1,completed the "Data science" project of University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, Li Jiangxi, class 21 mechanical teacher 1, Li Jiangxi,class 21 computing teacher 2, completed the "robot technology" project of University of Science Malaysia.
Xu Shunqi showed the study notes of supervised learning idea, neural network working mode,improvement of stochastic gradient descent（SGD）and other second-order optimization algorithms such as Gauss-Newton method.He said the learning of such knowledge helped him improve his understanding of programming ideas and principles of automatic control.
As a freshman, Zhang Jiahuan deeply realized the importance of oral English and listening in this international exchange program, and mastered a certain amount of data and science related knowledge through learning,which enriched her vision and enhanced her ability.
Liu Jiayi said that she has been interested in robots since she was a child.This international exchange program focused on robot technology, which enabled her to have a further understanding of the functions, principles and development and application of robots, and to better understand the knowledge of algorithms.
Li Xiang usually does experiments in the laboratory. In this exchange, she strengthened her understanding of the principles of robotics and made up for the gap in her study at school.At the same time,Li Xiang thinks that the two Chinese professors in the class are very high level, and he is also proud of the Chinese people going to the world.
In recent years, Normal School Of Vocational Techniques has strongly supported students to participate in exchange projects, with the aim of cultivating innovative talents with an international perspective.
