On the evening of May 9th, the open ceremony of the First HBUT Mathematical Culture Festival and Communication of Mathematics Competitions experience was grandly held. The activity aimed at popularizing mathematical culture, exploring the beauty of mathematics, improving the ambience for students to actively study mathematics, and motivating students for mathematics studying.

The ceremony was hosted by our School of Science's deputy party secretary, Ms. Guan Xiangjuan. And our university's party standing committee member, Prof. Yan Liezhou, the director of the Department of Student Service, Mr. Wang Dongming, the deputy director of the Department of Academic Affairs, Mr. Li Xiaobo were invited to the ceremony. All the staff and students from the School of Science, mathematics competition participants and mathematics enthusiast also attend the activity.
