On the afternoon of November 16th, the 2015 “Yan Lin Scholarship” Award Ceremony and the Donation Ceremony of Faculties were held in Erudition Hall. Zhang Ming, the founder of the “Yan Lin’s Reward Fund”, who was also the outstanding alumni in Fermentation (graduated 1994), awarded the prize to 11 students and teachers.

Professor Qiu Yanlin(Oct.1942-Nov.15,2009), the former professor of the Light Industry Faculty at HBUT,was well respected by her students. The “Yan Lin Scholarship” was established by her students, Li Xuesong, and Zhang Ming - two outstanding alumnus in Fermentation - to cherish the memory of Professor Qiu Yanlin. Together, they donated one million yuan to the fund.
